Its the night before Christmas and my precocious Chihuahuas had cooked up a plan to see Santa Paws when he would arrive. Bogie and Kimba got dressed and set out a plate of their favorite cookies with a glass of milk. They snuggled under their tree in their sofa but guess what happened? they fell asleep. Good Night everyone may Santa Paws bring you everything you wish for. ‪Merry Christmas everyone.

Paws For A Cause: Halloween Festival

Pet fashion couturier Anthony Rubio of Bandit Rubio Designs in conjunction with The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, New Jersey are bringing back Halloween to an area that was heavily damaged by hurricane Sandy last year.
On Sunday October 27, 2013 at 4 PM the event Paws For A Cause: Halloween Festival will feature a Halloween Canine Fashion Show with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the service dogs of St. Barnabas Paws for Patients; a Hospice Therapy Program.
While attendees strike a pose in the many photo ops including a photo booth and step-&-repeat, a DJ will play a mixture of Halloween theme music and Pop hits. There will be food, snacks, desserts while you sip on the libations provided.
Attendees with their furry friend(s) in a Halloween costume will have a chance to strut on the catwalk for a opportunity to win an Apple iPad for the Best In Show winner. Other prizes will be given. Raffle prizes include a Apple iPod, Bling Bone neck piece, Gerrard Larriett Aromatherapy Pet Care gift sets and many more goodies. So show up in your scary, spookly and sparkly glam costume for a fun filled day of games, prizes and giveaways.

Directions via Train:
Take NJ Transit from New York Penn Station to the South Orange stop leaving at 3:11 PM and arrive at 3:48 PM. Once you arrived it’s a short cap ride to the venue or you may call the hotel at (973)-731-7007 and they will send a van to pick it up at the station.

Last night, Saturday September 21, 2013 at New York’s legendary Museum Of The Moving Image, I made history by presenting for the first time ever in any museum anywhere, a canine fashion show which consisted of my newest couture creations. I invited a very talented friend who appeared on Season 10 of Project Runway named Vengsarkar Budhu of Gavaskar to collaborate with me and create a collection also to be presented on the models who escorted the canines on the runway. This was brought together by The Latino Show Magazine. In attendance was a who’s who in a menagerie of Latino entertainment, arts and culture dressed to the nines to celebrate our multi-faceted heritage. We were also graced with the attendance of the 2013 New York City mayoral candidate Joe Lhota.

Happy Pride Everyone!

 

We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating at New York City’s Pride Parade. Edie Windsor along with Harry Belafonte were the parade’s grand marshal.

 

The city’s enthusiastic cheers echoed from the throngs of supportive spectators as we marched with equality group GLAAD for PRIDE. My million dollar golden Chihuahuas Bogie and Kimba joined me to partake in this year’s parade. Jennifer JWOWW Farley was GLAAD’s celebrity guest.

 

I was originally planning to dress the boys in 70’s inspired flamboyant outfits I had designed but for some reason I had a change of heart and chose to create these luxurious outfits which include gold sequined tuxedos with white cuffs and coordinating top hats with the j finishing touch, these magnificent jeweled collars. The theme? “Glitz and Glamour” The ensembles were very well received by the masses of spectators, press and media as well as by fellow marchers.
