Anthony Rubio, Freedom Williams at the premiere of a documentary film “Legends of Freestyle”

I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of a documentary titled “Legends of Freestyle” at the AMC theater located in Times Square. This film chronicles the history of the music genre Freestyle/Latin Hip-Hop, a movement which was started in the 80’s and lasted through to the early 90’s. Also in attendance of this HBO premier were many of the notable recording artists of that time, the likes of this gentleman, Freedom Williams of C+C Music Factory. The film took me back to the good old days of break dancing. Feeling Nostalgic.
