I love each and every one of my canine models and make sure I get to capture the joy and especially the fashions that I create for them, with love, in photos that I can always share and look back to remind me of them.

They make me so proud as I know they do their parents but mostly I take so much joy in seeing how proudly they pose in my canine couture creations.

Avant-garde

For Amazing Grace, nothing short of AMAZING!!!! I designed and created this spectacular sculpted confection in RED HOT!!! I Love this color so much for her…The fitted bodice is composed of tiny red glass roses that form a pliable textile much like chainmail. I wanted to have a stand out effect so I created these huge poofy sleeves that gave me an editorial fashion statement. The fit was perfect and the overall look screamed “Look At Me!!!” and everyone did……

Model Confidence

I always say that nothing is more attractive than confidence. I seek that in all my models because my fashions demand that confidence on the runways and in photos.

Basset Hound beauty Lucky exudes that confidence wearing this spectacular work of art. The black sheer dress was covered by stylized flowers which were handcrafted in patients and sequins in various shades of metallic gold and fuchsia. The final effect gave the appearance of a fragile garden of glass like flowers.

Kiwi is a big personality in a little package. Found running along the freeway, she was rescued and soon after found her forever home with mom.

Couture Fit For Queen
Adorable mini Pit Saya models an Exquisite Canine Couture Creation fresh off the LA Fashion Week runway which features a black floral bodice encrusted in jet black glass beads. The voluminous floral skirt is covered in sequins and the look is all pulled together with a satin sash knotted with cream colored silk Gardenias.

Ellie models a couture dress inspired by fashion gowns of the 1960’s. What makes this couture confection special is the combination of textiles utilized to create the voluminous frame which was then adorned in stylized flowers made using navy and lime green palettes giving the illusion of a Tiffany stained glass lamp. The dress is actually a work of architectural art and Ellie sure knows how to strike just the right pose in it.

Dazu and this regal chap is an American Standard Poodle with a flair for fashion.

Dazu is modeling a sequined floral print on black stretch velvet vest. As he strutted down the runway he looked as if flames were shooting out of his sides getting gasps from the audience.

Milo striking an impressive pose modeling a custom made Harness/vest comprised of a four way stretch satin bodice with an overlay of stretch netting featuring flora done in black, white and metallic gold sequins with green sequined leaves. The strategically placed flowers pop against the black background and seem to pop right out as if 3 dimensional. Milo is quite comfortable but most importantly he looks regal.

Our Boy Bastian, This dynamo strutted the catwalk modeling a mosaic style sequined jacket in an Ombre combination of luxurious 24K god and jade green. He lit up that runway like a torch.

HARMONY

I love the times I get to bond with my models. Here is a lovely senior Basset Hound named Lucky. We were the lucky ones to have her join us to make her long awaited runway debut and she had her pawrents and us gushing with pride.

I am crazy about this photo because it captures Lucky and me harmonizing. We won’t be going platinum but we sure know how to have a lot of fun.

I always say that fashion is for anyone and that you are never too young or too old. Here we have one cheeky little girl named Marlow. Not only is she cheeky but adorable and precocious at just four months. She is one of my newest West Coast models and boy does she know how to steal a show. For her beautiful coloring I thought to design a whimsical frock in Turquoise. This architectural design is her very first bespoke creation and her first dress. Because she is so young there was some skepticism about keeping the dress on but she quickly proved that wrong because she absolutely loved it. She twirled in it with so much delight and showed it off to everyone. This couture creation features a structured skirt with a pliable bodice giving her stretchability and breathability. The fabric features over all tight ruffles and clusters of tiny gunmetal colored tiny glass bugle beads and sequins. The dress is fit for a princess which she is. Marlow, the world is so ready for you. We’ve been waiting….

Tiffany glass is a type of stained glass that was produced at the Tiffany Studios in New York City between 1878 and 1933. The glass is known for its unique colors, textures, and opalescence, and is often used in windows, lamps, and other luxury items. Tiffany glass is considered a fine example of the American Art Nouveau movement, which often used light and color to create free-flowing designs based on nature.

Every season I seek out new forms of inspiration by which I can create themes for my runway shows. I walked back to something I once stumbled upon which caught my interest. I had read and researched the American Art Nouveau movement. Of particular interest was Tiffany Glass. I loved the designs of stained glass and wanted to incorporate the concepts and colors into my canine couture. I started creating flowers out of pallets with beading and while it was quite the laborious undertaking I came to love what I was making and with practice and time I made uncommon color combinations which in turn were incorporated into the garments.

Here we have Suki the #ChineseCrested from San Antonio, Texas modeling a mocha colored sheer dress encrusted in delicate powder blue handmade flowers surrounded by vines of bronze and gold. I am very pleased with the results. When spread out that skirt resembled a Tiffany lamp.
